The Band
“One for the Road” is composed of four members: Mick McGinty (vocals and guitar), Seán Curran (bass and vocals), Martin O’Neill (drums) and Mikey Brennan (mandolin). The band has been together since 2012, but their individual musical journeys have been much longer. Singing in pubs since he was old enough to hold a pint glass, Mick has gone on to become one of the most sought after vocalists in Ireland. Martin and Mikey are both seasoned veterans of traditional music festivals in Britain, while Seán is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist who has toured all over Europe. Together they create a perfect mix of light-hearted merriment and hard-driving rhythms.
