This is our rallying cry to the whiskey drinkers of Birmingham! Without much further ado – we’re launching our Snug Whiskey Club!\n\n\n\nEvery Wednesday you can enjoy one of our delicious whiskeys at trade prices\, until that individual bottle runs dry! Help us sip our way through the Nortons Whiskey map of Ireland! £2 a single\, and £3 a double which is absolutely insane! SUMMARY:Folk at Nortons: Seán Magee Tour 2026
DESCRIPTION:We’re very excited to launch Folk at Nortons with a special live show from Seán Magee on Friday 20 February. \nSeán began playing traditional Irish music at just seven years old\, taking fiddle lessons from Irish music legend Pat McManus. By the age of nine\, he was already gigging regularly\, performing in pubs and venues across the north of Ireland alongside his father. A few years later\, his siblings joined him on stage\, forming The Magee Family Band\, who still reunite for the occasional show. \nAt just 14 years old\, Seán won 1st place at the All Ireland Fleadh in the under-15 fiddle category – a huge achievement and early sign of the musician he was becoming. \nIn recent years\, Seán has built an impressive solo career\, touring extensively across Ireland\, the UK\, Europe and the USA\, including shows in Germany\, Spain\, Amsterdam and New York City. He also spent a year touring with Rory Gallagher of Rory and The Island\, playing dates across Ireland\, the UK and Europe\, and completing a residency at RiRa Irish Bar in Las Vegas in 2019. \nAlongside his live work\, Seán has grown a strong online following\, now reaching over 150\,000 people across social platforms\, connecting audiences worldwide through his energetic performances and wide-ranging musical style. \nExpect a powerful live set rooted in Irish tradition but delivered with pace\, personality and serious musicianship. Originally from the southern shores of Lough Neagh and now rooted in the wild landscape of Connemara\, he has carved out a distinctive voice over more than two decades of touring and recording-sharing stages with some of Ireland’s most revered performers. \nBarry recorded his debut album at just seventeen\, launching an international career that has seen him collaborate with luminaries such as Steve Cooney\, Cara Dillon\, Julie Fowlis\, Lumiere\, and Dervish.
